This post is the 28th in a series.

I have used the semi-colon as a title for this post because this is a sort-of end of this series of posts. We have caught up to the present. I suspect there will be posts in the future, but for now we’ll take a pause (a little longer than a comma, but not as long as a full stop).
I want to thank you for coming along with me on this journey. So much has happened in the last 7 months! And knowing you’re reading, engaging with me, has been so helpful. I hope it has provided some insight to you, helped you to understand people who need to come out of the closet a little better. If you know of anyone who could be encouraged by my story, please share it! If you know of anyone who could use a peak into the inner thoughts of a queer person, please share! I’m willing for my experiences, my story, to be educational, to be enlightening. Many queer people don’t have the resources for that, don’t want to be that. So, use my story to shed light on others’ stories.
There has been a bit of a gap since my last post because I was asked by my spiritual formation community to present some gender & sexual diversity foundations to them: a grounding of understanding of queerness in the Bible, some terminology, some exploration of self with new ideas. I am so grateful for the opportunity to write these things down and to present them to an open, accepting audience who is eager to learn. I will be presenting my fourth webinar today. These presentations are from a definite Christian perspective, from my experience as a life-long evangelical coming to a realization of my queerness. If that sounds like something you or your community could benefit from, I’d love to talk about the possibilities. In this era of Zoom meetings for everything, we are no longer constrained by physical location!
I hope you will stay on board as I go back to a variety of post subjects. I recently took an on-line writing class with Natalie Goldberg, which was and continues to be excellent. I’ve even written some poems! I would love to hear from you: what my writing prompts in you, questions that may arise. Thank you to those who have corresponded with me throughout this process; I have appreciated knowing you’re out there, reading and thinking.
